As an AI Developer, this role combines technical consulting with hands-on development, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365. The main focus is developing and implementing intelligent, scalable AI solutions that help clients automate processes, improve user experience, and create real business value.
The role involves close collaboration with functional and technical specialists, consultants, and architects at Macaw, contributing to both customer success and professional growth. Because Microsoft’s AI ecosystem evolves quickly, staying proactive in following developments across Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and broader vendor direction is an important part of the role.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy agent solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, and Microsoft 365.
Develop Copilot Studio agents, workflows, instructions, skills, custom connectors or handoff flows.
Build integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Dataverse, Microsoft Graph, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
Work with LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and knowledge grounding patterns to improve agent quality and reliability.
Contribute to solution design, architecture, implementation decisions, and platform best practices.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver practical AI and automation solutions.
Support testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement of agent solutions.
Proactively follow Microsoft AI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and broader vendor roadmap developments.

Requirements

Experience as a developer, AI Developer, chatbot developer, technical consultant or Power Platform specialist, preferably in Microsoft-based environments.
Hands-on experience with or strong interest in, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform.
Basic to intermediate programming skills in JavaScript, C#, Python, or similar languages, mainly for custom development, integrations, and automation.
Strong interest or expierence in generative AI, LLMs, agent solutions, and business automation.
Basic knowledge of APIs, web services, authentication, and enterprise integrations.
Ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
A pragmatic problem-solving mindset and strong collaboration skills.

Salary Range

We value your expertise and offer a competitive salary range of €3900 – €6300 gross, tailored to your experience and qualifications.

Step 1

Getting to know you

We would like to get to know you! After you have indicated your interest to us, you will be called by one of our Recruiters. We will tell you more about Macaw, have a genuine interest in you and will be happy to answer your first questions.

Step 2

The first conversation

Unlike what you might be used to at other companies, we like to connect you directly with the people who truly understand the role. Instead of a trip to the office, we’ll set up a relaxed video call- no need to dress up, just bring your favorite drink. You’ll chat with one or two team members from the department you’re applying to. They’re happy to share what their day looks like and just as eager to learn what motivates you. Approachable, inspiring, and informative - that’s the kind of conversation we aim for!

Step 3

The second conversation

Hooray, you have come so far that a follow-up has been scheduled. We will carefully select two new interviewees you will often have to deal with in your job. This could be a direct colleague and someone from management. At the end of the interview, you will know for sure: I want to work at Macaw!

Step 4

An assessment

Depending on the position and your ambitions, we will schedule an assessment. Good to know is that we do not use this assessment as a selection tool, but as a development tool! We do not judge you on it, but rather look at where we, as a potential employee, can support you in your development.
