Join us as a hybrid technical consultant and developer, working with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Copilot Studio. You’ll design and build scalable, intelligent solutions for real-world business challenges, applying structured software engineering methods in new AI-driven and low-code contexts. Work with diverse teams to build integrations and help clients maximise Microsoft and AI technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Apply structured software engineering practices (e.g., clean architecture, testing, DevOps, modularization) to new technology contexts
  • Engage with modern tools and platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure AI services
  • Work on real-world business cases involving conversational AI, LLMs, and intelligent automation
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven and low-code business solutions using Microsoft technologies
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues to continuously improve your skills and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in system design, data modeling, and integration discussions
  • Bring a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset to every challenge

Requirements

  • Educational background in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
  • One or more of the following:
    • Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies and AI solution delivery
    • Motivation to learn and collaborate with experienced colleagues
    • Solid software engineering background and the ability to apply structured methods (e.g., clean architecture, testing, DevOps, modularization) in new technology context
  • High interest in topics such as:
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
    • Dynamics 365
    • Conversational AI (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio)
    • Generative AI and LLMs (e.g., Azure OpenAI)
  • Understanding of system design, data modeling, or integration patterns
  • Structured thinking, hands-on mentality, and problem-solving mindset
  • Solid communication skills in English (B2+); German is a plus
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience or exposure to AI, chatbots, or low-code projects
    • Knowledge of Python or C# or JavaScript/TypeScript or SQL or similar languages
    • Familiarity with Microsoft certifications like PL-400, AI-900, or AI-102

Step 1
Getting to know you
We would like to get to know you! After you have indicated your interest to us, you will be called by one of our Recruiters. We will tell you more about Macaw, have a genuine interest in you and will be happy to answer your first questions.
Step 2
The first conversation
Unlike what you might be used to at other companies, we like to connect you directly with the people who truly understand the role. Instead of a trip to the office, we’ll set up a relaxed video call- no need to dress up, just bring your favorite drink. You’ll chat with one or two team members from the department you’re applying to. They’re happy to share what their day looks like and just as eager to learn what motivates you. Approachable, inspiring, and informative - that’s the kind of conversation we aim for!
Step 3
The second conversation
Hooray, you have come so far that a follow-up has been scheduled. We will carefully select two new interviewees you will often have to deal with in your job. This could be a direct colleague and someone from management. At the end of the interview, you will know for sure: I want to work at Macaw!
Step 4
An assessment
Depending on the position and your ambitions, we will schedule an assessment. Good to know is that we do not use this assessment as a selection tool, but as a development tool! We do not judge you on it, but rather look at where we, as a potential employee, can support you in your development.

The offer
